Whisky characteristics
Springbank 18 YO (2021 edition) is a highly regarded whisky from one of Scotland's most traditional and independent distilleries. Founded in 1828, Springbank Distillery is one of the few in Scotland to carry out the entire production process on site, from malting barley to bottling.
The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, is not coloured with caramel or chill-filtered, which allows it to retain its natural character and richness of flavour.
The 2021 edition was matured in a carefully selected composition of casks: 50% sherry casks and 50% bourbon casks.
Tasting notes
	•    Aroma: Rich and complex, with noticeable notes of ripe berries, dried plums and a subtle hint of peat and leather.
	•    Taste: Balanced and multi-dimensional. The sweetness of fruit comes to the fore, intertwined with delicate peat smoke. In the background, you can find notes of marzipan, toffee and honey malt.
	• Finish: Long and mellow, with an aftertaste of milk chocolate, spices and a delicate hint of peat smoke.
