Terracotta shifting into black earthenware and vice versa

This sculptural vessel belongs to the Stratoforma series — a research into tension, rhythm, and sedimented form.
Its tactile surface is composed of thousands of micro-ridges, shaped layer by layer through a custom 3D printing process. Each protrusion is the result of deliberate distortion, allowing the material to pulse outward like breathing geology.

The clay body reveals a gradient where warm terracotta melts into deep black earthenware, echoing volcanic strata or fossilized flows.

No glaze, no coating — just raw matter in transformation.
*Note: a small area is visibly warped between layers. This piece is not intended for everyday use with water or flowers, but to be admired as a standalone sculpture.

Collector’s Notes
A one-of-a-kind piece, impossible to replicate due to the shifting interaction between geometry and gravity during the print.
Ships in a custom-sized wooden crate with full insurance.
