Magnifique sculpture en terre cuite (30 cm de haut, 3 kg) représentant un torse masculin puissant, directement inspiré des modèles antiques gréco-romains.

Cette pièce se distingue par son fort caractère et son modelé expressif :

- des veines finement marquées sur la cuisse droite, rappelant le réalisme anatomique de l’art académique,

- un ventre et un dos travaillés avec audace, volontairement irrégulier, qui donne à la sculpture une présence presque vivante,

- des fractures stylisées aux bras et au flanc, qui rappellent les fragments antiques admirés dans les musées.
