A finely crafted Bohemia crystal ashtray adorned with an elegant .925 sterling silver leaf decoration by the Italian silversmith L.A.M.A.T. (Lavorazione Artistica Metalli Argentati Torino).
   •   Crystal: Genuine Bohemian crystal, renowned for clarity and craftsmanship (Czech Republic).
   •   Silver: Solid .925 sterling silver (hallmarked), worked into a leaf motif and applied by the L.A.M.A.T. atelier in Italy.
Marks:
      •   R. Argento .925 confirming sterling purity
      •   Italian hallmarking symbols (maker’s registration code, province marks)
      •   Signature mark: L.A.M.A.T.
      •   Dating: Likely 1970s–1980s, a period when Bohemian crystal pieces were frequently enhanced with  
          Italian silver work for export.  
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and careful use. The crystal is clear with no major scratches or chips; the silver retains fine detail.

This is a refined Italian sterling silver and crystal ashtray that elegantly blends functionality with collectible charm—ideal for vintage silver enthusiasts and design aficionados.

Marks: 
.925 - denoting sterling silver with 92.5% purity
“R” in a Square: This hallmark stands for “Riempito” (filled), meaning the base material is filled with 3–5 grams of silver, often over a core, in accordance with the 1999 Italian regulation. 
Star hallmark (post-1968) Star-number code *146 AM indicates the silversmith registered in the province of Amalfi  .
Date:  
“R” mark for a filled silver overlay (introduced by 1999 legislation), this ashtray most likely dates from late 20th century, circa 1970s to 1990s.
Condition:  
Excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and careful use. The crystal is clear with no major scratches or chips; the silver retains fine detail.
