Jiří Slíva (1947, Plzeň, Czech Republic) is a Czech graphic artist, illustrator, and cartoonist known for his subtle humor, wordplay, and stylized drawing. He studied economics and worked in the field for several years, but since the late 1970s he has devoted himself fully to art. His work includes humorous drawings, book illustrations, and fine art prints—especially lithography, etching, and drypoint.

Recurring motifs in his art include jazz, wine, philosophy, eroticism, and playful language. His works have been published in numerous European and American newspapers and magazines, and he has exhibited worldwide. Slíva’s art is represented in both private and public collections, and he is regarded as one of the best-known contemporary Czech artists in the fields of graphic art and cartoon humor.
