Rare bouclier Aari, une des ethnies qui peuple la vallée de l'Omo en Ethiopie.
Pièce très ancienne collectée in situ dans les années 1950. Le bouclier est réalisé en cuir très épais. Les bords sont ourlés. Le pourtour est finement décoré de frises de points réalisés au poinçon.
L'arrière présente la peau à l'état naturelle décorée de lignes géométriques entrecroisées. La poignée en peau durcie présente une forme en Y. Des traces de coups de lance témoignent de son usage.

Envoi en colissimo volumineux.
