Marvelous porcelain figurine of a “Fallow Deer” seated, made by Gräfenthal Thuringia, in excellent condition.

It depicts a Deer with white spots that can refer to species like the Axis deer (Chital) and Fallow deer, which have permanent spots for camouflage, or fawns of white-tailed deer, which are born with spots for camouflage but lose them as they age. 

In 1976, the Gräfenthal manufactories were connected to the VEB Vereinigte Zierporzellanwerke Lichte as part of the Gräfenthaler Porzellanfigurenwerk having Erich Pröschold from Lichte as manager.

The figurine is in excellent condition, hand painted and glazed, not marked, NO chips NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
