Caperdonich 21 Years is an amber-coloured single malt whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. This edition has been matured for twenty-one years in first-fill American oak barrels. As the distillery has been closed for some time, this edition has been released by Chivas Regal for their Secret Speyside series. The whisky has an interesting aroma of spicy orange with barley and a hint of lemon. Its flavour has notes of poached pear wrapped in a blanket of creamy vanilla with floral notes in the background. The whole is rounded off by a long-lasting finish. Caperdonich 21 Years has an alcohol content of 48%.
