2 Chinese porcelain lidded vases, a pair, marked –China- Republic period
 
On offer is are 2 Chinese porcelain pot-bellied lidded vases, a pair or couple, with the same hand-painted decorations. Both are marked with a Qianlong seal mark in red. Both vases have a softly brushed decoration which consists of a bird sitting on a flower branch with a peony, nearby various other small flowers. At the collar and the foot of the vase there are 2 wide bands with colored flower branches and archaic elements. At the opposite side a Chinese poem with red seal marks. The corresponding lids are decorated in the same style. Nice pair from the Republic period, rare and in excellent condition! Pairs are hard to find! Provenance: From our own private collection.
 
Date: Republic period 1960-1970
 
Size: These 2 vases measure ca. 22,5cm and 23cm in height. The bellies measure ca. 14,5cm across.
 
Condition: Excellent condition. No damages! No chips frits or hairlines, no restoration!
