Antieke boeren bobbin stoel met biezen zitting – ca. 1900-1920

Fraai antiek exemplaar, een boeren stoel met gedraaide houten constructie en een met de hand gevlochten biezen zitting.
Kenmerkend zijn de kandelaber-achtige, gedraaide poten en rugspijlen, uitgevoerd in donker gebeitst eikenhout. De combinatie van het donkere hout en de lichte biezenzitting geeft de stoel een warm en landelijk karakter.

Dergelijke stoelen werden vooral rond 1900–1920 gemaakt en zijn geliefd in Frankrijk, België en Nederland. Behalve stevig en praktisch, zijn ze ook bijzonder sierlijk en decoratief.

Authentieke biezenzitting in goede staat

Sierlijk gedraaide spijlen en poten

Stevig, solide en nog bruikbaar
