Riccardo Forti

Fabricius (cabinetmaker turned designer) and Kastholm (trained blacksmith) collaborated from 1961–1968, producing iconic chairs—such as the FK 86—and won the prestigious Gute Form award in 1969.

Designed in 1968 for Kill International (Germany), this piece reflects the duo's minimalist, functionalist style—clean lines, leather, and polished steel.

The FK 86 is a sleek, swivel lounge chair that subtly combines comfort with sculptural minimalism. It's crafted with precision steel, fine leather, and smart design—classic elegance with timeless appeal.

This chair features an original black/brown leather upholstery, the backrest lacquered in red. It has some signs of age and use as to be expected after 50 or so years, this is a true collectors item that is visually appealing and also extremely comfortable.
