Tetera victoriana en plata de ley 925 – Londres, 1845, George Richards & George Child

Exquisita tetera de época victoriana elaborada en plata maciza de ley (925 milésimas), contrastada en el Assay Office de Londres en el año 1845.

 Pieza firmada por los reconocidos plateros George Richards & George Child, cuya marca fue registrada en 1843.

La tetera presenta un diseño clásico y ornamental de estilo victoriano, con cuerpo globular decorado con grabados florales, filetes y motivos vegetales de gran detalle.
Descansa sobre cuatro patas en forma de hojas de acanto elegantemente curvadas. 
El pico está decorado con un mascarón de rostro humano o animal en altorrelieve, típico de la platería del período.
Asa con refuerzo térmico y tapa rematada en forma de pináculo con borde perlado.
