Commemorative Badge dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Turkish Republic and the participation of the 5th Turkish Brigade in the Korean War.
Inscriptions:
The inscriptions "CUMHURİYETİN XXXINCI YILDÖNÜMÜ" (30th anniversary of the Republic) and "5 NCI TÜRK TUGAYI" (5th Turkish Brigade) are engraved on the badge. The dates "KOREA 1923-1954" are also indicated, which refers to the period of the existence of the Turkish Republic and participation in the Korean War.
Symbols:
In the center of the badge is a crescent moon with a star and four stars, which is the symbol of Turkey. Around the central part are laurel branches, symbolizing victory and peace.
 Meaning:
The badge marks an important historical period for Turkey, namely the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic and the contribution of the 5th Turkish Brigade in the Korean War.
