Set van 2 oude Jambati klankschalen

Meditatie geluidsinstrument.
Ongeveer 1900 - 1950

Jambati 1) 18,8 cm en 9 cm
Jambati 2) 11 cm en 5,5cm
Ongeveer 1350 gr.

2 passende kloppers en kussentjes om de klanken optimaal te gebruiken.

De kleur van het metaal is donker en rijk gevlamd. Hij is warm qua klank en rijk aan ondertonen, levendig geluid. Unieke zichtbare markeringen van de hamer. Het is met de hand gemaakt, de onregelmatigheden in de randen zijn typisch voor handgemaakte kommen en zijn te verwachten. 
Het is een unieke kom en een prachtig rijk geluid.

Jambati
De wand is iets gebold en hoog, de bodem is klein en vlak
De oude Jambati schalen herken je vaak aan heel veel fijne hamerslagen, wat door slijtage natuurlijk wat kan vervagen. De antieke schalen zijn vaak honderden jaren oud. Heel soms vind ik er een met een inscriptie. De oude schalen zijn er in verschillende varianten, qua vorm, kleur en hamerwerk. Het lijkt alsof deze schalen door gebruik en tijd een extra klankdimensie hebben gekregen, net als goede wijn die in het juiste vat met het verstrijken van de tijd op smaak komt.
