Masque Kuba 
Dans l'art africain Kuba, le masque traditionnel utilisé dans le cadre des rituels d'initiation représentant des esprits de la nature, les mingesh. Ces esprits servent d'intermédiaires entre les hommes et la divinité suprême Nyeem. Ce sont ces esprits qui rendent le sol fertile, la chasse fructueuse et guérissent les malades. Les masques pwoom itok ont un aspect cubiste d'avant-garde avec des traits en projection : yeux, bouche, excroissances.
Ici, les yeux tubulaires classiques rappellent ceux du caméléon. Une patine polychrome contraste l'ensemble à l'aide de motifs géométriques
