la pentax mx è una fotocamera reflex 35mm prodotta dalla pentax tra il 1976 e il 1985, molto apprezzata dagli appassionati di fotografia analogica per la sua compattezza e la facilità d’uso. questo modello manuale è privo di automazioni, permettendo al fotografo di controllare interamente tempi di esposizione, apertura del diaframma e messa a fuoco. monta un otturatore a tendina metallica con tempi da 1/1000 a 1 secondo, più posa B, garantendo grande precisione e durata.

il sistema di messa a fuoco è basato su un mirino con prismi pentaprisma, che offre una copertura del campo del 93% e un ingrandimento di circa 0,87x. la pentax mx utilizza obiettivi con attacco k bayonet, compatibili con una vasta gamma di lenti pentax. tra le caratteristiche tecniche figurano anche il esposimetro a cellule al seleniuro di cadmio (cds), con lettura mediante mirino, che consente di valutare correttamente l’esposizione senza staccare l’occhio dalla fotocamera.

l’assenza di automatismi la rende ideale per chi desidera imparare la tecnica fotografica con un controllo totale. la sua costruzione robusta in metallo la rende resistente e affidabile nel tempo, caratteristiche che ne hanno fatto un modello storico molto ricercato nel mercato delle fotocamere vintage.
