Antieke Nederlandse muurkaarsenhouder – ca. 1880–1900

Zeldzame messing muurkaarsenhouder uit de late 19e eeuw, vervaardigd in Nederland. Uitgevoerd in rijk gedecoreerde neorenaissance-stijl, met verfijnde florale en architectonische details.

Dit type wandarm werd oorspronkelijk gebruikt in welgestelde Nederlandse interieurs, waar het functioneerde als elegante sfeerverlichting vóór de opkomst van elektriciteit. De draaibare arm en zorgvuldig uitgewerkte ornamenten tonen het vakmanschap van de periode.

Oorspronkelijke uitvoering voor kaarslicht.
