The title “Satsukibare-五月霽” (“Clear Skies in May”) evokes a sense of serenity and renewal after sorrow, reflecting both mourning and hope. Kikunosuke II is depicted with calm dignity, dressed in refined costume and framed within a circular window motif, symbolizing transcendence.
