First Edition MeltingPot table oval. Unieke kans om eigenaar te worden van de allereerste in nieuwstaat verkerende ovale dining table voor 16 personen gemaakt van gerecycled plastic door Dirk van der Kooij.

De Meltingpot tafel speelt een centrale rol in de circulaire ontwerppraktijk van Kooij. Afgedankte prototypes van gerecycled plastic, productiefouten en kleurtesten vormen de basis van de Meltingpot. Deze veelvormige elementen zijn samengesteld tot spontane, levendige landschappen: klaar om te worden verwarmd en geperst tot stevige platen ruw materiaal. De tafels zijn liefdevolle kaarten van de studiogeschiedenis, die een vluchtige interactie vertegenwoordigen tussen onze coloristen en het materiaal van de dag.
