Indrukwekkende antieke handgesneden eikenhouten leeuwenkop, daterend uit het einde van de 20e eeuw.

Met groot vakmanschap vervaardigd, toont dit stuk een krachtige expressie en een uitzonderlijk gevoel voor detail — van de gespannen blik in de ogen tot de fijn uitgewerkte manen. De warme, diepe patina van het eikenhout benadrukt de levendigheid en karaktervolle uitstraling van de sculptuur.

Oorspronkelijk diende een dergelijke leeuwenkop vaak als architectonisch of decoratief element aan meubels, deuren of gevels, en symboliseerde hij kracht, moed en bescherming. Tegenwoordig vormt hij een indrukwekkend en stijlvol pronkstuk aan de muur of in een interieur met karakter.
