In Mata Ortiz (Chihuahua, Mexico) nahe der Grenze zu den USA, gibt es eine Gemeinschaft von Keramikhandwerkern, die sich der Herstellung von Keramik im Stil der antiken Mogollon-Kultur widmet. Dieser Stil wurde nach der Stadt Mata Ortiz benannt, in deren Nähe sich die archäologische Stätte Casas Grandes (Paquimé) befindet. 

Die Töpfereikunstwerke aus Mata Ortiz sind weltweit bekannt und geniessen aufgrund ihrer Spitzenqualität hohes Ansehen bei Kunstsammlern. 

Der angebotene Topf wurde 1996 vom bekannten Künstler Reynaldo Quezada gefertigt.

Er hat einen Durchmesser von 15 cm und ist 8,5 cm hoch.
