Welcome to the stables! To coincide with Ardbeg Day, the Islay distillery invites us to participate in an unforgettable spectacle: the Spectacular Limited Edition Whisky. The whisky initially rested in ex-bourbon casks, after which it achieved a spectacular finish. The Spectacular was the first Ardbeg whisky to mature in port wine casks, creating an exceptional tasting experience. An experience not to be missed. Color: Sunset orange Tasting Notes Aroma: Incense and lavender blend to create aromas of leather, wax, and rich almonds. A little water produces wood smoke, damp peat, and menthol. Taste: Salty, sweet, and spicy, peat smoke, eucalyptus, mint, and chocolate with caramel, tar, and creosote. Finish: Salted caramel and refreshing menthol leave a long finish.
