Ispirato alla trombetta del Bianconiglio, il personaggio che seguì Alice finendo nel Paese delle Meraviglie.
Anastassiades ha scelto una delle operazioni più tradizionali della tornitura a mano dei metalli, quella di formare un disco di metallo, generalmente ottone, restringendone progressivamente il diametro fino alla larghezza di un dito, dimensione che permette di saldarlo al resto del corpo dell’oggetto che si sta costruendo. Un processo usato per la produzione della maggior parte degli strumenti a fiato che, filtrato dallo sguardo poetico di Anastassiades, dà vita a questi vasi da fiori il cui fondo convesso, rientrando nel corpo, richiama ulteriormente la forma a cui sono ispirati.
