CHRISTUS TORSO

Wahrscheinlich gotisch 15. oder 16. JAHRHUNDERT, Gotik, Renaissance.

Holz geschnitzt, polychrom gefasst, Höhe / Länge ca 68cm, (mit dem Maßband gemessen), Breite 24cm, Tiefe ca. 7cm, Altersschäden, Arme und Füße fehlen.

Möglicherweise Reste polychromer Bemalungen sowie alter Restaurierungen, Beschädigungen, siehe Fotos.

Wird sehr, sehr gut verpackt versendet, in mehrfacher Polsterung sowie mit dem Hinweis FRAGILE, natürlich versichert.

In den letzten drei Fotos der Bilderstrecke sehen Sie einen ähnlichen Christus Torso welcher von einem namhaften Auktionshaus im Jahr 2015 (vor 10 Jahren) mit einem Schätzpreis von 1200-1400€ beziffert wurde. 

Eine alpenländische Herkunft ist sehr wahrscheinlich, da 4 dokumentierte Corpus Christi dieser Art in der Vergangenheit in Österreich aufgetaucht sind.

Eine Ähnlichkeit mit Spanischen Christus Figuren dieser Art ist gegeben, aber es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass eine Spanische Herkunft gegeben ist. Selten!
