Fine sculptural lock also known as Ko, Konbalabala or Konbarabara in the Bamana language, in the form of a lizard with long pointed tail, squared legs at sides, and pointed mouth. Engraved pattern with around body and along tail. Dark brown variegated patina. Minor surface wear, cross lock gone.
