'The Magic Finger' is een kinderverhaal van de beroemde Britse meesterverteller Roald Dahl (1916-1990).
De hoofdpersoon is een achtjarig meisje dat een bijzondere gave heeft. Als zij boos wordt, krijgt ze het heet en dan heeft ze een 'tovervinger'. Die gebruikt ze tegen de buren, de familie Kreitjes, die graag op eenden jagen.

Deze uitgave is gepubliceerd in 1974 en nog in hele goede staat gezien de leeftijd.

In 1985 hield Dahl vanwege zijn afnemende gezondheid zijn laatste grote signeersessie (in het Winchester Recreation Centre). Tijdens deze sessie heeft hij deze uitgave gesigneerd. Kopieën van het bijbehorende krantenbericht en de signeersessie zelf worden met het boek meegezonden.

Gesigneerde boeken van Roald Dahl zijn bijzonder gewild omdat zijn verhalen tijdloos blijken en ook nieuwe generaties boeien.
