Set of Two Copper Room Candelabras – Mid 19th Century
A fine set of two copper room candlesticks, manufactured in the mid-19th century. These elegant objects reflect the functional and decorative character of copperwork from that period, when hand-forged and spun copper items were part of daily interior life.
Description:
Period: circa mid-19th century (ca. 1850)
Material: solid copper, hand-turned and soldered
Design: classic room candleholder form with wide base, fixed wax catcher and handle
Finish: warm, reddish-gold shine with attractive natural patina
Provenance: Kunst- en Antiek handel Via Mioni
Condition:
In beautiful, original condition with light signs of use appropriate to age.
Copper with appealing patina; small irregularities indicating handwork.
Both candleholders stable and complete.
