Roger Haus - 赤と黒 - The Red & The Black

赤と黒 - The Red & The Black - UNIQUE - 60x50cm It is midnight—when the world holds its breath and the air hums with quiet alert. A girl stands in the dark, her hair deep as ink, her red eyes glowing like embers. Beside her, a salamander mirrors her gaze—its slick skin black as night, its eyes burning the same crimson fire. Around them, the forest stirs: an owl calls, water murmurs in the distance, shadows breathe. Are they watching us—or waiting for us to see what lies within their world? Original artwork on canvas in a Manga style. Created exclusively with acrylics, with a felt-tip pen used on top for the meticulous line work. An additional 5 cm has been added on each side to allow for stretching. Delivered with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity. Part of creative collaboration with Anna Dart. Shipped carefully rolled (without a frame) in a protective tube for a safe delivery. The artwork might appear differently in photos, depending on the camera settings. The colors are very bright and beautiful. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Roger Haus [1984] has been delivering the wow factor in his work for over a decade. Trained at La Llotja Art and Crafts Academy in Barcelona, one of Spain's oldest and most prestigious art institutions, where renowned artists like Picasso and Miró honed their craft, Roger Haus later continued his training at IDEP Academy, known for its strong emphasis on technological integration. Meanwhile, passionate about manga, street art, and photography, he filled the streets with graffiti and his notebooks with daily illustrations. In 2015, Roger expressed an interest in the use of generative networks for his drawings and paintings, making him one of the early pioneers. Today, his art has been exhibited in the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea, making big waves on social media. Roger has collaborated with prominent institutions, including Universal Music, the Picasso Museum, CaixaForum, and the Joan Miró Foundation. A surrealist at heart, Roger embraces automatism for the spontaneous expression, inviting you to step a little closer into an exciting world of infinite possibilities.
