Elegante eikenhouten plantentafel / bijzettafel – ca. 1900–1920 – Engeland

Prachtige, ambachtelijk vervaardigde plantentafel in massief eikenhout, vermoedelijk afkomstig uit Engeland, en daterend uit de periode ca. 1900–1920.

De tafel is uitgevoerd in een stijl die doet denken aan de late Victoriaanse tot vroeg 20e-eeuwse landelijke traditie, met rijk handgesneden florale motieven aan de zijkanten en bovenaan de poten. Het vakkundige houtsnijwerk en de degelijk uitgevoerde houten penverbindingen getuigen van hoogstaand vakmanschap uit die tijd.

Het meubel rust op vier slanke, taps toelopende poten met een verbindend onderblad, wat niet alleen stevigheid biedt, maar ook elegantie toevoegt aan het geheel.

De tafel heeft een warme, donkerbruine kleur die de natuurlijke nerfstructuur van het eikenhout prachtig benadrukt. Een charmant stuk dat zowel decoratief als functioneel is — ideaal als plantentafel, bijzettafel of elegant accent in een klassiek of landelijk interieur.
