This is a Judge Dredd page from the story The Exterminator painted in watercolour and ink by Emilio Frejo. 

The page features a great splash panel of the Statue of Liberty.

The story follows Judge Dredd travelling back in time to 2001 to kill people carrying an alien virus which is threatening the existence of humankind.

The page still has it's acetate cover which has the word balloons stuck to it. This can be lifted to see the artwork without the glare of the plastic or the speech bubbles obscuring the view.

The reverse of the art board has an official 2000 AD rubber stamp with the date: 5 Dec 1994. This is the original art painted for page 5 of 2000 AD Prog 923.

Please note that the slight wrinkling is due to the technique of watercolour at the time of creation. The watercolour paper section of the board deliberately comes away from the harder backing board to make copying the artwork easier for publication.
