Annexus Quam was initially known by the name "Ambition In Music", Annexus Quam was an experimental psychedelic group that emerged from the German "Cosmic Rock"-scene during the late 60's to record a pair of albums that ranged from Progressive Jazz and Fusion to Free Improvisation.
In 1970, the band had a gig at the Expo '70 in Osaka, Japan. This is considered to be the first appearance of a German band in Japan. Later, they also toured in Tunisia.
