Description from the seller

Beautiful antique finely chiseled silver Jambiya dagger from Yemen or Oman

Rare detailed, handmade and completely original.

The dagger is in local silver, the front is finely decorated with silver decorations, exceptional goldsmith work, on the handle, there are 2 typically Arab decorations, the reverse of the scabbard is also in local silver
Superb in very good condition, without defects..

The blade is traditionally slightly curved and made of forged steel with a central edge, No rust, but a superb patina of the carbon blade..you can see little decorations into the patina

Most men in Yemen wear one from their fourteenth birthday.
Because the jambiya is worn more like jewelry, they often have an elaborately decorated hilt and scabbard, much like this dagger.

Superb object for the true collector. old rare, look at the pictures...

Total length of the dagger in the scabbard: 28,00 cm straight, you have to add the curvature
