AWARDS/RECOMMENDATIONS 17 Points, Revista de Vinhos WINE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz & Tinto Cão. VINIFICATION Wine fermented after partial destemming at controlled temperature (24ºC-28ºC), when must reached the desired sweetness value, fermentation was interrupted by the add of brandy; following a period of maturation in oak barrels, in the warehouses of Vila Nova de Gaia; after approval was then bottled between the second and third year. TASTING NOTES Deep red colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, nuances of blackberries and tobacco leaves. In the mouth has an intense flavor and soft tannins with a long after taste. SERVING Goes well with intense cheeses. It can also be served with dark chocolate desserts, such as mousse and pie. Store upright, in a cool, dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature between 14ºC and 16ºC. Consume in moderation.
