2019 Messias Late Bottled Vintage Port 6 x 0.75L 6 Bottles Port Wine WINEMAKER: Ana Urbano. AWARDS/RECOMMENDATIONS 17 Points, Vinho Grandes Escolhas 16 Points, Jancis Robinson WINE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz & Tinto Cão. VINIFICATION Wine fermented with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), and then aged in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova. from Gaia until it is bottled, between the 4th and 6th year. TASTING NOTES Wine with an intense ruby color, on the nose it presents a complex aroma of forest fruits, with notes of spices. In the mouth it has a good freshness with young tannins, which give it a long and elegant finish. SERVING Goes well with intense cheeses. It can also be served with dark chocolate desserts, such as mousse and pie. Store upright, in a cool, dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature between 14ºC and 16ºC. Consume in moderation.
