Description from the seller

Luigi Filippo Neapolitan console, second half of the 19th century, made of solid wood and characterized by a rich carved decorative scheme.
The furniture features a typical structure of 19th-century Neapolitan production, with a strongly shaped front, prominent scrolls, and a central cartouche intricately carved with great attention to detail.

The lower part is enhanced by a profiled shelf, supported by an elegant central sculptural element with foliate motifs and sinuous shapes that fully evoke the Luigi Filippo style, here expressed in its most richly decorated variant.

The upper plane, with a wavy edge, retains the original patina and shows normal signs of age, consistent with the piece's age.
The engraving, very deep and three-dimensional, is a distinctive feature of Neapolitan artisan workshops of the period, known for the quality and expressiveness of their craftsmanship.

Dimensions:

Height: 90 cm
- Length: 107 cm
Depth: 42 cm

Conditions:

Overall good general condition. Some signs of use and small cracks on the surface, consistent with the age of the furniture (see photo). Stable and solid structure.

Note:

Authentic 19th-century piece with a strong aesthetic presence, ideal for entrances, salons, and classic environments.
The console combines elegance, decorative richness, and the artisanal quality typical of the best Neapolitan Luigi Filippo. With a small restoration, it will be perfect.
