IACOB - The Silent Knight – Series No. 2

Authenticity: The artwork is an original creation by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The artist Iacob seeks to reveal his own world through his paintings and to convince the viewer through it. He lives with a vision shaped by introspection, deeply marked by antiquity. His desire is to express his personality through the way he transforms everything, from nature to garments, within any given context. In this painting, we see the depiction of a nude woman with a contemporary presence. With a strong sense of authenticity, the artist expresses his vision both symbolically and narratively, as well as through a technique that is not left entirely to instinct, but rather represents a balance between personal expression and knowledge. The work is titled "The Silent Knight", and it is the second piece in this series, a feminine version, powerful even when unclothed, marking the moment we live in, where the strength of the woman is revealed. In this composition, the woman wears only part of her armor, one arm protected, the helmet resting on her shoulder. This contrast between the nude body and the armor symbolizes the modern woman: even when depicted nude, she can be seen beyond sexualization, as a symbol of strength, awareness, and presence. The painting invites a different perception, one where femininity and power coexist naturally and harmoniously About the artist: Iacob Mircea holds both a BA and an MA in Painting, and is currently in the final year of his PhD in Painting, all completed with merit scholarships. His artistic path reflects a wide professional range, from having his studio at the Palace of Culture in Ploiești to engaging in international projects in New York, including a partnership with Ralph Lauren. He has presented numerous solo exhibitions in Romania and abroad, participating both individually and as part of the academic group of the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
