Description from the seller

Benditera / devotional triptych in 915 silver, Spain, first half of the 20th century

Exceptional wall rosary holder made of 925 sterling silver, with a gothic triptych shape. It features rich embossed religious scenes: in the center, the Virgin with the Child surrounded by saints; on the sides, various saint figures; and at the top, a Crucifixion.

The lower part features a semicircular pool, richly decorated with vegetal motifs and a medallion engraved with the monogram 'IHS'. The reverse side displays the craftsmanship of casting and chasing. It has a top ring for hanging.
• Material: 925 silver with contrast (star and visible punch mark).
Weight: 100 g
• Measurements: 14 × 10.5 × 2 cm
Good overall condition, with slight patina and normal signs of age.

In terms of style and craftsmanship, it is a piece of Spanish devotional silverware, possibly Catalan, made for domestic use.
