Lilley & Reynolds Marine ship's clock

Description:
Original English marine mechanical ship clock from Lilley & Reynolds Ltd., London EC3. This type of clock was used aboard British merchant and navy ships and is known for its accuracy and robust construction.

The timepiece features a classic dial with Roman numerals and a seconds subdial. The clock is housed in a heavy brass casing and mounted on a black-lacquered wooden backplate, as traditionally used for wall mounting on ships.

The dial is marked with:
Lilley & Reynolds Ltd. London EC3 in Made in England.

Condition
Good vintage condition with signs of use appropriate for age. Brass with a beautiful patina. Glass and dial complete. Working condition, had maintenance some time ago, and after shipping, it was recalibrated.

Origin
Originating from the maritime sector, used on board a British ship.
