Tray (2) - tray with gold cranes and pine branches, dish with Mt. Fuji rises above a shimmering landscape - Wood, lacquer

Good condition. Description: This lacquerware set consists of an elegant square tray stand and a matching vermillion bowl, both richly decorated with traditional Japanese maki-e motifs. The tray is coated in deep black lacquer with a mirror-like surface, and its surface shows graceful gold cranes in flight. Around the exterior, golden pine branches curve across the sides, creating a warm contrast against the glossy black. The softly rounded cut-out windows reveal the beautifully finished interior, giving the piece a sense of openness and lightness while still feeling structured and refined. The accompanying red lacquer bowl continues the same auspicious visual language. Inside the bowl, Mt. Fuji rises above a shimmering landscape rendered in gold, with stylized waves and small pines spreading across the foreground. The underside of the bowl is decorated with cranes painted in soft gold tones, echoing the cranes on the tray and creating a harmonious unity between the two pieces. The bright vermillion surface adds a celebratory feeling, typical of lacquer used for festive occasions. As a set, the tray and bowl present a vivid interplay of red, black, and gold, with cranes, pines, and Mt. Fuji symbolizing longevity, prosperity, and good fortune. The craftsmanship is meticulous, from the smooth lacquer surfaces to the delicate brushwork of the maki-e. Together they form a refined ceremonial ensemble well suited for display, seasonal celebrations, or collection. NOTICE

It takes about 3~4 weeks to receive normally.Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
