Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped its artistic universe through its interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently, Urban Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion, destined to be realized.
XTC is defined as a self-taught visual artist, associated with the Pop Art movement, through the diversion of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of pop culture icons (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even caviar) and street art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastic materials, and sometimes minerals.
Drawing inspiration among others from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and from advertising and addictions in general.
Any defects or imperfections (recovery extinguisher) are considered an integral part of the work.
