Nostalgic classic car Philips N3X72V/10 from 1957/1958 with medium wave (MW) and long wave LW. This is a tube radio which - after warming up - still works well and naturally requires some fine-tuning by use of the channel search knob. The Philips looks good (see pictures) and has the original 1957/1958 front. For your classic car from the 1950s, this Philips is entirely ‘in period’ and still works fine. The right knob is for on/off and volume, the left knob is for searching channels and for some tone control after slightly retracting the knob. Choice between MW or LW by use of the push buttons. The Philips is switchable 6/12 volts and the grounding is also switchable (also on 6v!). After opening the top of the radio you will find a clear diagram for connecting the radio and a diagram of the radio itself. This 60-year old vintage Philips has some patina but is virtually original and still works fine.
