Superb bronze Art Deco sculpture, depicting an Amazon with a spear and a shield, by Henry Fugère.

The bronze, representing a warrior in a dynamic and graceful position, has a silver patina (note some marks and gaps due to age, which do not alter the elegance of the ensemble).

The sculpture rests on a base with four sides of black marble veined with beige, orange and grey, in perfect condition except for a few tiny chips.

The bronze alone measures 39 cm, the whole set is 50 cm. The sculpture is signed Fugère on the base.

Original screws.
