Signed oil painting made by Harry Zeegers born 1929. The painting measures about 60 x 50cm, including frame the measure is 61 x 71 cm. Painting is in excellent condition, frame has some small defects on the outer edge but it can be repaired easily. Canvas can be picked up if desired, location in consultation. 

"The Brabant born Harry Zeegers, son of a teacher of drawing and painting, got his first lessons from his father. His skills he later developed further at the Royal College of Art in 's-Hertogenbosch. He gained his MA in drawing. He settled in 1960 as an independent artist. Harry Zeegers can do many genres, but landscapes, still lifes and floral still lifes is what he prefers most. Besides the oil painting technique he also does watercolors, directly from nature. The variety in his work is characteristic for Harry Zeegers as a person. Sometimes he paints naturalistic while other times the scene is only a starting point from which he begins to paint. His style is related to Dutch Impressionism,. but more blond and bright colors. Because he shows a certain atmosphere in his work, he can be best described as a romantic impressionist."
