LIP Calendrier – Elegant French Vintage Watch – 1950s
Presented for auction is an authentic LIP Calendrier men’s wristwatch from the 1950s, a refined example of classic French watchmaking from the post-war era.
This timepiece features a gold-plated case with stainless steel case back, an original silver dial with attractive and even natural patina, applied hour markers, and a discreet date aperture at 3 o’clock.
The overall design is elegant, well-balanced, and unmistakably representative of LIP’s vintage aesthetic.
The dial, hands, and case appear original and consistent with the period.
The watch is running at the time of listing; however, long-term accuracy has not been tested and the service history is unknown, which is common for vintage watches of this age.
The watch is fitted with a leather strap (not original).
Condition
Very good vintage condition with honest signs of age
Original dial with beautiful patina
Gold-plated case (not solid gold)
No box or original papers
This watch is sold exactly as shown in the photographs, which form an integral part of the description.
Due to the vintage nature of the watch and potential transport issues, no returns are accepted.
Potential bidders are kindly asked to review all images carefully and bid accordingly.
The watch will be professionally packed and shipped with insured delivery.
A charming and collectible 1950s LIP Calendrier, ideal for vintage enthusiasts seeking an elegant and authentic timepiece.
