THE FOREST Art & Woodworking Studio Unique Series

Offered here is a remarkable pair of hand-carved oak sculptural figures, sold together as a set of two.

These striking wooden forms were shaped approximately 80 years ago from very old oak, likely already over a century old at the time of carving. The result is a pair of objects with extraordinary presence: dense, beautifully aged wood, deep natural grain, and a patina that only decades can create.

Their silhouette is raw, powerful, and deeply expressive. Each figure stands as an individual sculpture, yet together they create an even stronger impression — like twin guardians, silent relics, or architectural totems carrying the memory of time and hand craftsmanship.

What makes this duo especially desirable is the balance between primitive simplicity and refined sculptural impact. The visible tool marks, age cracks, worn edges and natural irregularities are not imperfections, but part of their authenticity and soul. They give the pair a rare, almost museum-like character that cannot be reproduced.

These sculptures would work beautifully in a curated interior, a wabi-sabi setting, a brutalist or rustic-modern space, or in a collection focused on folk art, vernacular objects, or unique decorative antiques.

A rare and highly decorative pair with genuine age, strong atmosphere and timeless sculptural presence.

Sold as a pair of 2 pieces.
