Large Lot of Globe Meridian Magnifiers – Approx. 300-350 Pieces – Educational & Collectible Accessories

A rare and highly unusual large lot of globe meridian magnifiers, designed to be mounted onto the meridian ring of a globe. These magnifying lenses enhance the readability of geographical details, making them both practical tools and attractive additions to educational globes.
Each magnifier is fitted with a clip or mounting system that allows it to be easily attached to the meridian, enabling close inspection of place names, coastlines, and cartographic details. The clear convex lens provides noticeable magnification, ideal for both study and display purposes.
This lot is estimated to contain approximately 300-350 pieces, making it particularly suitable for collectors, dealers, restorers, or educational suppliers.

Condition:
Mainly in good/new condition. Some may have minor signs of storage wear may be present due to bulk handling, but the lenses remain clear and functional. Please refer to the photos for a representative impression.

Why is this lot interesting?
•	Collectors of globes & scientific instruments: Rare accessory that is often missing from original globes
•	Restorers and dealers: Ideal for completing or upgrading vintage globes
•	Educational institutions: Practical teaching aid for geography and cartography
•	Interior decorators & stylists: Unique and visually appealing objects for creative use
•	Resellers: Opportunity to sell individually with good margin potential

Historical & Practical Context
Magnifiers like these were commonly used in the mid-20th century on educational globes, especially in schools and offices, where detailed map reading was essential. Today, they are increasingly hard to find in larger quantities, particularly as a complete bulk lot.

Dimensions (approx. per piece): 7 x 4 x 1cm
