This collection features vintage postage stamps primarily from the German Empire (Deutsches Reich), Bavaria (Bayern), and Austria (Österreich), dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Most of these individual stamps are common "fillers" for a worldwide or European collection. While they have significant historical value and are excellent for entry-level philately, their monetary value for common used copies is typically low. Serious collectors often look for specific printing errors, rare watermarks, or unique cancellations which can significantly affect the price. This other half USA contains a variety of early 20th-century U.S. definitive stamps, primarily featuring George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Most of these stamps are likely from the 1902-1903 Series or the subsequent Washington-Franklin Issues (1908–1922). Potential Rarity: Significant value (hundreds to thousands of dollars) usually depends on technical details not visible to the naked eye, such as perforation counts, watermarks, or rare printing errors.
