Art Is The Flower, il nuovo Single Malt Scotch Whisky di Macallan, è stata realizzato in collaborazione con l’associazione che porta avanti l’eredità dell’architetto e artista Charles Rennie Mackintosh, massimo esponente britannico dell’Art Nouveau, e alle sue influenze europee.

Questa preziosa edizione limitata si ispira all’iconico pannello in vetro “The Spirit of the Rose” del 1902, celebrando al contempo la ciclicità della natura e l’arte floreale di Mackintosh.

Realizzato dal Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, il Blend è composto da una selezione di botti in rovere europeo ex-Sherry completamente maturate. Il risultato è un whisky di grande complessità, con sentori di uvetta, fico, rovere, ciliegia, mandorle, arancia e melassa. Al palato prevalgono le note di rovere dolce, vaniglia, zenzero, mela e foglia di tè, con un finale lungo, dolce e pieno.
The Macallan Art Is The Flower: The Art of Whisky

Art Is The Flower, the new Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Macallan, was created in collaboration with the association that upholds the legacy of architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the leading British figure of Art Nouveau, and his European influences.

This valuable limited edition is inspired by the iconic glass panel “The Spirit of the Rose” from 1902, celebrating both the cyclical nature and Mackintosh's floral art.

Crafted by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, the blend consists of a selection of fully matured European oak ex-Sherry casks. The result is a whisky of great complexity, with hints of raisin, fig, oak, cherry, almond, orange, and molasses. On the palate, sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, apple, and tea leaf notes prevail, with a long, sweet, and full finish.
