A fine pair of Balinese symmetrically carved hardwood birds as bookends, each measuring circa 18cm in height and together weighing 1892g, each holding a nut in its beak, its elongated talons extending over the base in the typical style of the interbellum that blends Art Nouveau with traditional Balinese arts.
Condition: Small defects, tiny repair to one leg. Overall in a very presentable state.
