Bottled at natural cask strength of 57.7%, it reflects the established style that made these annual releases so sought after.
Port Ellen closed in 1983 and its remaining stock has been gradually released in limited quantities, making each edition an important part of the distillery’s legacy.
The whisky shows a balanced combination of coastal influence, citrus notes, refined peat smoke and a dry, mineral character, shaped by long maturation.
